The Zone Routing Protocol (ZRP) for Ad Hoc Networks
Zygmunt J. Haas, Marc R. Pearlman School of Electrical Engineering Cornell University Ithaca, NY 14853 E-mail: {haas,pearlman}@ece.cornell.edu Homepage: ![]() Internet-Draft November 1997 Expired: May 1997 IETF MANET Working Group Paper: ![]() ![]() see [Haas1997a] for original paper see [Haas2002a] for latest version AbstractThis document describes a routing protocol for ad hoc networks. In particular, it is suitable for highly versatile networks, characterized by large range of nodal mobilities and large network diameters. The protocol is a hybrid of a proactive and a reactive schemes, allowing adjustment of its operation to the current network operational conditions.BibTeX
